How good is your elevator pitch? Do you even have one? Do you know what it is?
The name "elevator pitch" reflects the idea that it should be possible to deliver an overview of a product, service, person, group or organization, or project in the time span of an elevator ride, or approximately thirty seconds to two minutes.
In today's world, time is money. With most client prospects, you have a very short amount of time to gain their attention and to SELL them before they lose interest.
When meeting other professionals, the same rule applies. You have to be able to explain who you are, what you do, & how you can help them very quickly and efficiently.
What makes you stand out? Why should they remember you?
Get practice at our next NACE meeting. This will be a speed networking event where you can meet others and have others remember you!
- Go straight to the Upper Club (UC on the elevator).
- Dress code is business casual; no jeans or shorts. They have a black tie event in the lower club, so they are going to enforce it.
- Come prepared with bullet points about you and your business to share in small groups!
